Summer
How's summer for you? It's hard for me to belive that summer is finally here. But all that means for me is work and basketball. The work is good for the pay and there is not anything bad about basketball. If you have good summer stories feel free to email them to me and I will put them on my wiki. Have a good summer.

bail out
The Bail Out Bill

I am here to say that I believe that the Bail out Bill is wrong and should be abolished. I think it is wrong because why should we, average Americans, have to pay for large Companies’ foolish mistakes. To me it doesn’t seem right, and here’s why.
The first thing I don’t like about it is that it takes billions of dollars of government money to pay for the companies to keep running. Where does the government get their money? From us. If those companies would tighten their belt a little, and not hand out giant pay checks to their managers and C.E.O's they wouldn't be in such a tight spot. If I was president it would never have passed; if they are in dept, and our country is in dept where is our national dept going to do if we bail them out, and give them billions of dollars? Drop! Drop like a Two Ton Brick! Kaboom! The way I see it is we don’t need to go into another couple billion dollars in the hole. We are already 11 trillion in dept.
Another horrible thing about it is that once you bail out one company it will have an effect on all the other large industries in the U.S. they will all want a bail outs also. Why wouldn't they want a bail out? It’s free money. It’s bigger pay check for them and bigger taxes for us.
The Bail Out may be good for something like saving the large companies, but they wouldn’t be in trouble if the weren’t giving out $40,000 pay checks every month to every top person in the company. That’s a small part of their problem.
If the Bail out had been approved during a different time it might have been fine, but right now we are in an economic crisis. Really there couldn’t have been a worse time to make it effective. But the bail out was a horrible idea and it still is.
During this money crisis we all have had to manage our spending. Why shouldn’t they have to, and by they I mean every company applying for the Bail Out? Did anybody notice that as soon as the Bail out was passed every large company applied for it? If I could see the owners of them companies I would say, “You are sad and pathetic! Do you really think you need this? Cut back your salaries a bit. I personally think you could live without a few private jets.”
If you ask me I think they should get abolish of the Bail out Bill. I will stand by this decision strongly, and it will not change, or waver.

The Roach Ponytail
This is a true story of my sister and my family. It is written right after we have decorated our tree.
“Look at this bug! It’s huge!” said Dad.
“Oh my gosh! What is that!” screamed Maddy.
“It’s a bug.”
“Get it! Squash it.”
“Ok.”
“No don’t kill it I want to take it to Science” decided Maddy, “She is going to love this bug!”
As Maddy runs out to get a jar Dad goes, “It’s not a bug it’s a ponytail but don’t tell her.”
“I got a jar! Now catch it.”
“No. You want it you catch it.”
“Drew will you get it for me?”
“No I’d kill it. You get it.”
As Maddy goes to grab the bug Drew takes out a video camera and takes a video. Dad walks back out of the kitchen.
“Just sneak up on it its dead.”
“Why do I need to sneak if it’s dead?”
Maddy goes and is got a jar on one side and is sneaking up on it with a lid in the other hand and is closing in on it. When Brock runs in and says, “Hey isn’t that a ponytail?”

Happy Thanksgiving
What I am thankful for this Thanksgiving. What I am thankful for is that I will be able to spend this Thanksgiving with my family. One of my favorite holidays is Thanksgiving, because I love to spend the holiday with my family. I love to spend the day with them and watch movies, and eat, and, play cards, and eat, and go sledding, and eat. I'm thankful for my family because I love to have someone who I can always talk to, and so I always have someone to support me in whatever I do.
I am thankful that my family and friends have good health. I am happy my friends have good health because it’s no fun to see your friend in the hospital. If I didn't have my friends to talk to I don't know what I would do.
I am thankful that we have this holiday, because if we didn't celebrate it we wouldn't have an excuse to lie around and eat all day.
I am also thankful that I was so blessed by God to be born into a loving family. Another thing I am thankful for is that if I can't turn to anyone I can still turn to God for help.
That is what I am thankful for this year.

Respect
You know that saying on how you are supposed to “treat everyone with respect” well I say that baloney! Respect should be earned. If you go around and talk like you are the ruler of the world and do nothing to back it up you have earned no respect. Ok I agree at first you should treat everyone with respect but then as you get to know them you should learn if they really deserve it. If you can’t give someone respect that doesn’t mean go around and make them feel bad. No you should try to avoid that person, or if you can’t try to treat them with respect (doesn’t mean you have to like it). Now if you can treat no one respect that means you haven’t tried. If you can’t treat anyone with respect you haven’t earned any yourself. Respect is a two way thing you treat someone like you should and you gain some. But if you go around talking like you are king of everything you lose some. I like to be treated with respect but like everyone else it must be earned.
The saying should be “Respect isn’t given. It’s earned”.

Halloween Story
Tom Gertchwell is a real-estate agent and he is vacationing in Paris. On Halloween he decided to see the oldest creepiest house in France. He didn’t believe in ghosts or anything like that so he forgot the warnings and rumors and went to see it anyway.
“You do know that this house is haunted, (gulp) right”, said the taxi driver as they drove up the driveway.
“Yes. Yes I do”, Tom replied, “let me out here.”
“Nobody who as gone here as ever came back.”
“I’m sure”, joked Tom, “see you later.”
Tom walked up to the house and onto the deck. When he opened the door responded with a loud Creeek.
“This place is a bit of a fixer-upper”, he joked.
When he toured the house he felt like something was watching him. Sometimes he would think he would see something in the shadows but then it would be gone.
“I must be losing my mind”, he said.
“Not yet anyway”, said an old voice.
Tom turned around and jumped in surprise.
A small old man is standing right in front of him. He was very pale and looked like he hadn’t slept in months. He had long yellow fingernails that looked like little yellow needles. He was wearing a night shirt and some old jeans that were ripped in the knees.
“Who are you”, questioned Tom.
“Who am I? Who are you”, he replied.
“Sorry. I must be leaving. G-Goodbye”
“You can’t use the front door”, said the old man.
As Tom walked to the front door and grabbed the handle it got really hot and burned his hand. As he ran for the back door the old man was just standing there smiling. When he got to the back door he went through and saw bunches of gravestones.
“Oh my god”, he said.
“It’s beautiful”, said the old man, “Now would you like to join them?”
“Wha”
At that moment the old man jumped on him and started clawing and biting him. Tom eventually through him off and ran back into the house to hide.
“Help. Help. Is anyone here”, he shouted, “help me”
He could hear the old man chuckle and say, “There’s no one here to help you.”

People who don't Dance
Don't you find it funny that most people go to school dances to sit around and talk? Really it’s ridiculous. The only reason I never dance is because nobody wants to dance with me.I find it funny that they go there to talk to people they see all day. Really people it’s not the best place to talk, they play loud music the whole time.
What I find insulting is that they like to laugh at the people dancing my friends laugh at me sometime when I'm dancing with girls. Really guys who else am I supposed to dance with? I'm just happy I got them to dance with me.
Also (I'm not going to judge you) I find it insulting when sometimes I ask a girl to dance and she says no (or comes up with a bad excuse) and then goes and dances with someone else.
I like to dance at school dances but there not really very fun because my entire class just sits around and talks.

The Gods Book
The Giant Book
Were did reading come from? Were will it take us? The giant book in Jinan, China can tell us if we could only learn to read it. How did it get there? Well my friends it has quite the story. This is how it happened…
One day in the land of the clouds the Great Beings(GODS) of this world were wondering how they would keep all the knowledge of the world in one easy area were they could instantly access it and change what ever they wanted in history. For many eons they argued on how that would be accomplished one suggested she were to have all the knowledge, another said that knowledge was not important and that they should quite wasting there time.
So for many more eons they kept arguing. Until one day one little god suggested that they make a book with written words in it and blank pages so that it may be altered if needed. The other gods were pleased and immediately they began to develop a writing system.
For many years latter they worked on the book and when it was finished they celebrated. For the first test of the book they used it to make a new being one that they called humans. It was a success!
For many years the book was only a help to everything that they needed. But after a few years some of the gods began to get greedy of the power of the book. When one god would change something another would undo it and do the opposite. That’s when everything went wrong the gods got in a fight over the power of the book. The fight turned into a war. A war that even the humans entered, we know it as World War II.
When the God who had created the book seen what she had done she decided that she would hide the book forever to stop the ridiculous war.
So one night she took to book and tossed it over the edge of the Kingdom in the Clouds.

Down it fell until it landed in China buried in the earth were no one would find it…
Or so she thought.For many years it remained hidden but finally it has been uncovered.

Way back in the Hills
Way back in the hills where even the ants didn’t go, I remember the extra ordinary event that took place. Most people didn’t know about it but why should they it didn’t concern them. What took place is between me and sorcerer that lived there. So what if he is gone that will save the king a lot of trouble. If you want to here what happened read this entry it might help you recognize those who are trouble, and his is what happened.
It was a bright peaceful morning that seamed that would be a good day. Unfortunately it was too good, it was so good that it got me into a mess that would have taken 100’s of people to straiten out, if it wert for me. As I was walking to the castle for the choosing of apprentices, I was hoping for an apprenticeship for a scribe. But if I weren’t to get that I don’t know what I would do, I guess I would get put to wherever they decided to put me. As I approached the castle I took slow deep breaths to make myself feel calmer. As opened the door a rush of cool air ran by me giving me the chills of what was to come.
